Middle European maps

Middle European Maps - 1:200,000 scale
map sample (Series ME200) Time period, 1910 to 1937; very good detail. This series of 265 maps includes parts of Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Albania, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Russia, Ukraine, and Romania. It includes hard-to-find areas such as Galicia, Volhynia, Bessarabia and Podolia. There are several maps per country. Many town names are in German. Virtually every village is shown, along with topographic features. No index.
The first edition of this map series is available online at a Hungarian web site. Please note that the maps posted online are NOT the same as the ones we stock. The maps we sell are usually the second or third edition, with many corrections and changes to village names and national borders. A few of our maps date from after 1945.
The map series is out of print; we have obtained our stock from an archive in Austria. Many of the maps are still available in color. Size about 18 inches by 25 inches. Rolled, not folded. SELECTION IS LIMITED TO STOCK ON HAND -- CHECK AVAILABILITY. We will no longer take special orders. C$16.95 each
