Marco Polo Polska Atlas Drogowy -- 1:200,000 Road Atlas of Poland
(POL012) Just released! The eighth edition, dated 2007-2008, showing the freeway construction done over the past couple of years. By Marco Polo (formerly RV Verlag, and formerly Euro Atlas). This is the best Polish atlas. There are 236 pages of maps (1:200,000), a 75-page town-name index, eight regional maps (1:100,000) that show main arterials, 65 city maps (1:20,000) that show major streets, and four general maps (1:4,000,000) of Central Europe. Please note that "Atlas Drogowy" is not the brand name; bookstores and gas bars in Poland sell a variety of atlases that say "Atlas Drogowy," and some are available elsewhere in North America. If it doesn't say Marco Polo, Euro-Atlas or Marco Polo, it's not the best. This atlas has a wire spiral binding, so the pages turn easily. 8-1/2" by 11-1/2", in color. 395 pages. C$50.00

Polska Atlas Drogowy -- First Edition Index
A listing of 90,000 placenames in Poland, with references to voivodships, from the first edition of the Polska Atlas Drogowy. Subsequent editions did not include the voivodships, which are key to genealogical research (although not to tourists, apparently). This index, which includes a map identifying the location of the voivodships, should be used in conjunction with the Atlas Drogowy above. 80 pages, softcover with spiral binding so the pages turn more easily. Our exclusive publication, done with permission from the original publisher. (This is a new version of this index, adding the map and the spiral binding.) C$8.95
