Surveyed 1890s, revised 1937-1941 (mainly transportation systems). Town names are in German. 57 maps, numbered 1 through 128. No index, black and white. In stock at all times. Sectional maps - 1:25,000 scale
(Series GETK25) Topographic maps. Each map shows a small area in great detail - 16 times greater detail than the above GEKDR100 maps above. Surveyed in the 1890s, with revisions through to the 1930s. Town names are in German. No index, some color, most black and white. The maps in this series are numbered 0192 through 6178. Size: folded, 12 inches x 11-1/2 inches; unfolded, about 24 inches x 23 inches. Special order -- delivery may take up to two months, and we can't take returns.

Atlas of the German Empire 1892
(GER825) This atlas contains enlarged reproductions of 24 maps published in 1892 by Verlag des Bibliographischen Instituts, Leipzig and Vienna. In addition to maps of the German provinces, it contains maps of Berlin (1:31,000), Greater Berlin (1:111,000), Greater Hamburg (1:85,000), and a map of the entire 1892 German Empire (1:4,600,000). Map scale of the provinces varies from 1:850,000 (Hesse) to 1:1,700.000 (Bavaria). Small towns and hamlets are not on the maps. There is no map of "Prussia." There is a town-name index for each map sheet as well as a general town-name index (over 23,000 entries, 39 pp) for all maps. Spiral binding, 17 inches x 11 inches. 151 pp. C$47.95
